Sandisk cf card problem

Hi Guys
Got a weird prob with a Sandisk extreme 3 4gb cf card. Works fine if I leave it in the camera (40d). If I take it out and browse the images on the pc with a card reader thats fine too,but when I put it back in the camera some of the images wont play. I get an error message saying "unidentified image".When I take the card out and play on pc images are fine again!
Cant be the camera as I had the same issue with this card on my 400d.

Anyone had this? Steve

No but I'd back up images and format the card (in camera) and then try to recreate the problem. If it still does it send it back.

Thanks for the reply-formatted card several times and it still does it,do you know how long these are guaranteed for? bought it off play.com about a year ago

I would send this back because its obvious that card is faulty. As a follow-up, I'd be interested in the outcome if you do send this back as I am looking for some fast CF cards for my new Sony A700.
