Hi Guys,

anyone got an unused serial number for Sandisk Recovery Pro that they are not using?

Supposed to be printed on the CD sleeve that comes with the CF card, but mine's blank, can't find one anywhere on the CD or packaging.

Quite a few people with the same problem when searching Google :(

I have never had a CD with any of mine. I got slips of paper with a URL to download the program from and a serial number to use with it.
 
Hi Roger,

looking at the Sandisk site, seems as though the newer cards come like that now, no CD just a download link. Have downloaded the latest version but still asks for serial number :(

Have you looked in the box to see if there is a piece of paper?
 
I've got 4 of the mini CD all with serial numbers, non of which work anymore, so I'm guessing Sandisk have change their system since I bought my cards.

I had so much hassle trying to get the Sandisk software registered and working I just download the free rescue software from Lexar and used that instead.

Yes, there's only the limited warranty slip, no serial on it, just a couple of tel. no's...Headquartes & Technical support :(

@SteveCauson - thanks, but not using Mac :thumbs:

@ Islander - tried recuver, it did rescue about 20% of the files I lost but couldn't recover the rest...it's certainly the fastest recovery prog I've tried though.
 
In that case Ken, my next move would be to contact Sandisk.

I had a card that whent faulty sent email etc waited weeeks no reply si I phoned t hem.
What a waste of time explained what happend he found my email then said by the pictures I sent they were fake.And as I had lost the reciept nothing I could do all he kept saying was buy fro a reputible suppliers IS Jessops not a reputible supplier.
never use em now
there are lots of FREE recovery progs out there
Lexus is Ok

will try the Lexus & PhotoRec as suggested, given up on Sandisk...
