As per title, I received a letter from these people just before Christmas but left it to sort out once the festivities were over.
I've had a good look at it tonight but a few things didn't seem right. I have two linked domains, the .com and the .co.uk and this letter states that it is an 'Expiration Notice' as the .com is due for renewal.
Renewal fees as stated: 1yr = £20, 2yrs = £35 or 5yrs = £65 and if payment is not sent by 25/01/2010 then the domain will be suspended.
Now I would have thought that as both domains were purchased at the same time, they would both have been up for renewal so I did a search on "Domain Renewal Group" and found several references to them being a scam and when I checked with where I originally bought the domains from (123-reg.com), they arent due till May and they automatically renew them for me unless I state otherwise.
So, be careful out there, scammers are afoot
