When I bought my D SLR I got some 2 gb SD cards with it, I used one recently and it seems to have lost the locking bar so having formatted it, I have an empty card I can't use again as it's permanantly locked. 
I haven't used any of them much as I bought some 4gb and 8gb cards when memory prices plummeted soon after I got these and the 2gbs have just been emergency cards, kept in a rigid case in my camera backpack. (so they haven't been heavily used or damaged by me in any way)
Has anyone got any ideas for unlocking or shall I try returning it to the shop, write to Sandisk or do I just bin it? what would you do?
