Hi,

i have got a canon eos 500d and i was wondering do you guys have screen protectors if so could anyone recommened me one and where have you got it too, as i would like to get one asap

GGS make good screen protectors search on Ebay for "GGS screen protectors 500D"
 
i hate ggs screen protectors they can brake easy and cn scratch(dit my d300 screen)
i recomend acmaxx ones there awsome and alot better.

I have a GGS screen protector and its far better than the plastic clip on things Nikon supply. Word of warning if buying a GGS screen protector make sure the screen is perfectly clean before sticking it on and get it exactly over the screen, as once it touches the camera screen surround you won't be able to get it off without cracking it the GGS.

You have to go some to break a GGS one I have had one on my D300 from as soon as the screens where available.

Still completely unmarked.
 
Hi guys thanks for all ** replies i have looked at both and i look like i prefer the ACMAXX LCD ARMOR which looks more better for me, is there any like i have for my touch mobile where its just a film that sort of stick to ** screen or do they not do asnythin like that for camera's cheers
 
I don't use one. The screen's easily cleaned and only your only really going to get it scratched by being careless..
 
yeh i have noticed they are pretty easy to keep clean etc, it was mainly for scratches really, but i need to buy a bag this week to keep the camera in which will keep me happier lol

Have fun choosing a bag, it took me a month and a trial run to pick the right one!
 
haha well i have been looking and wondering but as i dont have many shops around me that do camera cases i have to look on the net which isnt very helpful as i like to c a bag first to see *** size etc, but i have found theses few on ebay

Have a think about where your going to be going with the bag.

Do you want a backpack? ( Makes much better for travelling and long days etc...)

Waterproof? (Also consider if it's a requirement)

Those bags look fine but how much gear do you have, because they don't look huge:thinking:

I live on an island so couldn't go try bags either, the first one i bought was too big and had to sell it on but i'm happy with the one i've got now :bonk:

okay thats gd advice thanks, well at the mo all i have is the canon eos 500d and the ef-s 18-55mm lens so nout to exciting lol but i'm hoping to get the canon ef-s 55-250mm IS lens what else would you say i need i thought that bag would be a gd size for just those bits lol

I'm probably the worst person to ask lol. I bought one which i thought was quite small and it turned out to be massive!:cuckoo:

I think you could go for something like a tamrac expedition or lowepro mini trekker maybe?

I'm not entirely sure much mate, it's an area of which i'm quite useless!

Oh and :canon:

i forgot to ask am about to buy this screen cover and i was wonderin does this stick tpo the screen or does it just clip over the edges or something

The LCD screen on a Canon already has a cover on it which is replaceable should you scratch. Check on you tube for videos.

not read all the posts but normall phone screen protectors
there cheep and you trim them to suit thats what I use on my 5dmk II
 
Is there a simple way of removing a GGS screen protector?
There is one on my 60D, never had one on my 550D and was fine. The GGS stops the screen from clicking shut when the lcd side is facing inwards, as the thickness of the GGS stops it from clicking home.
