Screws for shoe adapter

I got a lovely second tripod for Christmas. But the shoe adapter has a really short screw. I don't have my camera with me (we're away) to check if it will actually work, but can you get replacement (longer) screws?

Yep, they are normally listed on Amazon/ebay etc as Tripod screws or mounting screws.

My guess is that, unless your cameras have deeply recessed nuts, that amount of screw will work.

As above, most likely only need to engage a couple of threads which is better than bottoming out an over long fixing.

I got a set of all sorts of adapters off Aliexpress for a couple of pounds. I was given an L bracked with no screw and found one in the kit that worked. That looks like a Manfrotto style plate that normally have quite short screws like that.
