Scroller tepramental on 40d

My scroller next to the shutter trigger is tepramental.it feels like its slipping.i could be scrolling through the menus fine and next thing nothing.no clicking of the wheel either.has anyone else had this or know how to fix it?is it an easy fix?any help would be apreciated

Toothpick and some super glue, it's a common issue.

@penmanation i take it the advice helped then.

so after a bit of research the problem with the front scroller is a comon fault and an easy fix.i will sort it before i sell.

I have a similar issue with my trusty old 40D. I'll give this a try. Thanks for the tip!
