I have never shot seabirds, could someone recommend a good first time place in the Northwest of England please?

I suppose it depends what type and how you want to shoot them Frac... ... but plenty of places around Morecambe Bay will be a pretty good bet for a good variety of sea going type and wader type birds... :D

:p

In that case you'll be spoilt for choice... :D ... take a look at the huge variety of sites on offer HERE ... :naughty: ... a great site with many helpful hints and tips including links (in bold) to many of the sites...

St Bees would be a particular favourite of mine... ;)

Nesting seabirds (eg auks, puffins) will just about all have gone now. For waders you need to find a good hide close to the high tide mark and time your visits carefully. Spring tides will be best (but they happen every fortnight all though the year....)

Or find a hide close to where waders are pushed off tidal areas by high tides. These are often on Nature Reserves.

Thanks all, plenty to choose from then.............
