It's been a while, a couple of years since I did anything tbh, barely touched a camera since I had my youngest child. I've been shooting again for about a month.

Ignore the dodgy hair please (I need to practice pp massively so didn't even attempt to fix the stray hairs tbh!)

I used 2 lights but did a really bad job of lighting the background.

It works for me. I see what you mean about the background, but the image is quite striking, so I think you get away with it.

Nicely posed and well lit. THe background doesn't matter in this shot. I'm a bit concerned that you have overdone the skin smoothing if I'm honest, apart from that, I love it.

Tbh I was a bit concerned about the skin smoothing tbh, first time I've processed pics as ...aggressively? in a long time tbh.
