Sharp border (not blured) - CS2

Hi all

I am not advanced used of CS2 so probably the answer is very simple.
Every time I use CS2 to make a broder for a picture, the edges of the border are slightly blured (happens the same when you draw a single line, its blured, not sharp).
Is there a way to change it? Or should I use i.e. Corel for borders?

From your post it seems that you're drawing the border using the paint tool or maybe the pen tool. If you want to keep doing it that way, you'll probably want harder edges on your brush (which means you'll need to edit it).
Another way to do this would be to enlarge the canvas (not the image!) and then you can flatten the image or use layers (of the full canvas size) to get a border.

I don't use Photoshop, so I can't give you the details, just those hints. Maybe someone else here (or Google) can help you with that.

enlarge canvas size by whatever thickness of border you want and set the canvas extension colour (image -> canvas size)
