f*****g excellent. I might have preferred a composition with the house on the to the right than to the left but I'd be happy with it.

Cheers Steve, I took multiple shots while I was there and I think I prefer this one to the landscape versions. The wide angle can be great for strengthening the foreground.

Wonderful shot Andy. As you mentioned, the use of a WA in portrait really adds another detailed element of focus in the foreground to the shot. I found on my recent trip to Scotland I used this method quite a lot. Ive yet to edit the images yet so who knows how they came out

Yep, I like it, the distant tree/bush adds some balance to the shot and the frosty grass is well processed. Greens can look a bit mental at times.

I like that a lot although personally I don't think the UWA adds to the image, the hut and the light are the stars not the frozen ground.

Nice and simple works really well here. Lovely texture in the grass leading up to the lone hut.
