Shooting Clothing

I've been asked by the football club I work for to take some shots of our new stock for the online store. I can cope with mugs, scarves, badges etc as I can just plonk them in my light tent as I've done before with jewelry. The only issue I might have is with the kit. I've never shot any clothing before. I was thinking of getting someone to model but I really don't know where to start.

Any help would be appreciated :)

look at clothing catalogues
a model is good i suppose but if you can get on without one you can do the work when you want
as for lighting...good daylight so the colours are realistic and some texture in the material looks good..

I would ask a couple of the top players in the team to do the modelling for you. Make sure that the clothes are the right size and don't show any excess pounds off to worst advantage! Maybe even get the whole team in one photo? Could show off home and away kits (if they have both) as well as shorts, socks, tracksuits and shirts.
