OK, just send me the original size so that I'll be able to print an artwork in a big format.
OK?

Well todays message from here is,
Um I don't think so lady. I might send here a quote for the original image just for a laugh. Alamy seems to quote around about £1500 for a high res image.![]()
Seriously.. your not going to send her the original for 80 quid?
what are you going to do with it?
Sorry I just seriosuly dont understand why you wouldnt sell her the original for personal use for 80 quid... Personally I would jump at it..
is it an important unique picture?
Do you believe that in this instance the image is really for purely personal use?..
Should I be charging more if I think she might not be intending to do with it what she says or just I not be bothered anyway as it's £80 I wouldn't be getting otherwise? It could pay for getting myself a website set up something.
Times are hard so I think I will take the cash. I have said that if she wants the full originals I will do it for £100 though I will probably still take £80 if she says no.
If she does use the image for other things I'm pretty unlikely to ever know or find out anyway. If I do then I will ask for more cash, a lot more.

If she does what do I do then? I have hear of such scams but not about what to do about it.However, if she sends you any more than £80 keep your guard up![]()

I have already told her I won't accept anything other than bank transfer or paypal. Can a similar thing be done with bt?
Well I quoted £80 to start off which she didn't question. Now I have asked for £100 for the original files she came straight back and said send me your bank details. Seems king of a lot to pay for two images to then print for a husbands Christmas present.Dunno. Expert advice needed, I guess. I'm sure there will be some here somewhere, but I'd start by seeing if your bank can offer any advice. Didn't someone up-thread suggest asking for an fairly outrageous sum? You could try that. If she agrees to pay, it's probably time to step away.
from bank to credit card
That sounds good. Do you go to Request money, then Create and Invoice?Go on paypal, click on send an invoice, invoice the lady for £100, she pays £100, no more no less.
She doesnt even need paypal to pay it, she just clicks on the link from the email it send her and takes her to a payment screen.
Bosh.
Can provide more details if you need them, that's how I used to invoice people. Easy as you like

I'm surprised she's still interested
The reason it's taken so long is that she didn't reply to me for about a week.....not much I can do about that. :shrug:I'm surprised she's still interested
