Hey guys, I've got a Nikon d3100, nikon 50mm 1.4, sigma 10-20, sigma 17-70, tamron 70-300, and sb400 flash.
I love the 50, pin sharpe and super for portraits-practically lived on my body while the kit lens gathered dust (and still is). But now I've got the 17-70 mayb a sigma 30mm 1.4 would be beta for my crop body?
And I find the lack of tilt or turn on the sb400 isn't helpin my photography so should I sell that in favour of a YongNuo YN565EX?

What do u guys think?

The sb400 is a bit restrictive, isn't it ? Suits me fine for what I need it for at the moment but I guess you'll be shooting the kids ? ( not literally :o )

How's the 17-70 ?

Oh, and there appears to be too many "http" s in your sig ? It doesn't go to your flickr when i press it

Yea the kids, weddings, portrait everything really. Same with the 50 sumtimes a bit too close for indoors stuff, thats why I'm lookin at the 30?!

And yea I'm liking the 17-70, I was goin bk and forth between it and the 17-50 but decided the reach was beta for me and walk around stuff. Took a bit to get used to the weight over the 50 but that would have been the same with any lens really.

And yea I'll have a look at the sig lata (lucky were already friend on there anyway then)

I've just bought a YN565EX and whilst I've yet to use it in anger it does appear to be excellent value for money.
No way would I have bought an SB400 instead of it. So if you do want to upgrade your flash a YN565EX is well worth considering.
