I think it proves a point, money is not every thing, these pictures will send a few people rummaging, looking for that long discarded and forgotten 'Kit lens' . . .
I only have the standard 2 Nikon kit lenses at the moment of 18-55 and 55-200. I think I'd have to win the Euro lottery to get my hands on some of the lenses I really want. These were taken with the 18-55.
Some great shots on here makes me wonder if i have replaced my kit lens on my D3000 too soon with an 16-85mm lens but then i suppose having an internal focus is going to help loads when using polarisers and half grad filters. The only let down i find of the kit lens is the rotating front :shake:
I've got a 450D and havn't used the kit lens at all. Got addicted to my UWA Tokina. I think I really do need to give it a chance. Some cracking shots in this thread.
Truly inspiring
I only have a 18-70mm Nikkor lens to play with and was convinced it's limitations would soon bore me ... i think it's only my lack of focus that'll impede me now
Nikon 18-105 AF-S VR, I've had the flu pretty much solid since I got it but this was the one trip I got to take (coughing like mad the whole time) so far
