Sigma 1.4x TC on a Nikon 70-200mm VR does it?

I was asked if a Sigma 1.4x TC would AF with a Nikon 70-200mm VR as I am selling the Sigma TC.. I said no then googled it, and found this - "link" ....

So, I am asking if this is actually possible & has anyone actually tried it...

The TC will physically fit and will AF, but it'll jitter and not lock as decisively as either Kenko 1.4x or TC-14E.

I would not advise anyone to buy that TC for a Nikon lens - it works after a fashion, but the Kenko TC works much better and is cheaper as well.
