sigma 120-400 os lens

I was looking to invest in a sigma 120-400 lens for my cannon 450d, reviews seem really good, can any one give some in the field feedback.

I had one on Nikon. Was amazed by the sharpness TBH. It was a hell of a lot better than I was expecting, even at 400mm.
I got super sharp shots at 400mm with OS handheld at about 1/15.

It does look a bit silly fully extended, but get over that and its a corker.

I second that about sharpness...although I find the safe spot to be 1/160th...

Sharpness is good at f5.6, excellent at f8...which is much more than can be said about the 50-500 or 150-500
