It's a nice lens for the price. I haven't used mine as much I should really.
It's a solid feel to it and pretty weighty compared with the kit lens, Tamron 50-200mm and 50mm.
Focussing can be slow sometimes and in darker periods it can take a few seconds to lock on focus.
Some of my shots have come out blurry on the longer end due to no IS.
Here are some test pics taken with the Sigma (under good lighting conditions).

Ahhh! Thanks for the info people. From the pictures i can see. This lens looks pretty damn good for £200. I guess its so cheap cause it doesnt have IS i guess. But then again maybe a monopod could sort that out i dont know.
Im new to photography and only have small zoom lenses so i need something a little longer for when i need it if you get where im coming from.

I got mine 2nd hand (from the classified section here) for £65 iirc.
Very good lens for the money.

I bought mine for £90 and sold it for £120 a year later
Mint ones can be found for betwen £65 (see above) and about £130, for the money you can't go wrong. AF is the standard DC motor type so can be a bit slow in darker situations, but in good light whilst it's not USM or HSM fast it's pretty good.
