Hi folks, got a very daft question about my tripod that I could use some help with. I've got the Redsnapper 283 tripod and the three way head and I've been thinking of buying a ballhead to go along with it. Now for the daft bit...

I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the three way head. So if anyone could help me out with some info that would be grand. :thumbs:

Unscrew it,not sure if it has grubscrews underneath,check first.
 
You can Get 'Silly' tripods????

Cool!!! Do they have big, red, clown-feet?
 
Try to lock the swivel mech then unscrew as normal but I dont know if its locked in any other way as Fracster says look for grubscrews locking it
 
Yay thanks DM, locking it up then turning worked a treat. I was afraid to try it as I thought I may thread it or something. Cheers bud. :thumbs:
Now to find someone with 3 large, red rubber feet for sale...
