Simon's 52 for 2026

[SimonH]

Not bad simon. Looks over exposed to me.

Yea. Something not quite right. Played about with it a bit too much I think

[SimonH]

Great sets of shots for the Urban wildlife theme - I do prefer the one where they're stacked up.

Plus it reminded me to fill our feeders.

Thanks Kell

[SimonH]

Dave (@-Oy-) was right (as usual) - this was overexposed.. Have tweaked it a bit.

Nailed it

We are not of the Instagram generation posing for selfies all the time so a good challenge this week. I wonder what she is looking at?

Thanks Alan. We were in a National Trust garden - looking at the late summer flowers

The tweak looks much better, like you I found it much easier to get a volunteer for portraits this week- gave the dogs a week off

I like the concept, but it's a little too bright for me.

Week 39- Water Droplets

Quick and dirty this week as I've only just returned from a golfing break in Portugal.

A couple from a high tide at Penarth.

I like the first image, it has strong leading lines down to the water.

Thanks Dominic. That’s what I hoped for - glad it’s seen that way!

Nicely done. I like how the railings and the steps frame the water.

Week 40 - Everyday Tools

Yet again, time and mojo has got away from me. Here's a tool I use quite a lot, especially at this time of the year!

I love the colours.

[Darkslinger]

That works, great contrast between the monochrome tool and the colourful leaves.

Thanks both. I think the colours help. I was going to go mono, but decided against.

[NickD]

Nice! The splash of colour works nicely against the rest of the tones, and the square crop look good.

I should hope so! The grouting cost a fortune!

Week 41 - Story in a single Frame

A graveyard is always a worthwhile spot to find a story.
The stone tells a story, and the wandering ivy growing up the headstone is slowly adding to it.
