I am currently in the process of re-designing my site to make it have more social aspect to it, ie the digital age.

I am custom coding the backend of the site to include a simple blog, client area with a private gallery(s). (Kind of a hobby)

So far I have done this;

I still have a few things to implement

- Image slider on index page
- Populate some more images and icons
- Fix contact form
- Enable client area
- Populate information of pages.
- Integrate Facebook likes and Tweets.

However I was looking for suggestions and thoughts on the look so far.

Thanks for your time.

I really like it.

It's simple but it looks good.
One error I did come across was that when you click on your logo/name to go back to the home page it comes up with an error index.html doesn't exist. That should just be a case of changing the link to .php at the end.

I do however feel that the main page is missing something, perhaps it needs to spread the entire width of the window rather than being all over at one side. I'm torn between liking the space and hating it.

Overall though it is looking really good.

Thanks, will change that when I get a chance, but will be implementing SEO eventually.

I will create two index's one with less space and one with current space to see the views.

Will keep this thread up-to-date with dev...

I have updated the index link.

I am looking at getting a screen size script setup to detect what CSS to output - Reasoning is due to im on 19" at work so there is not much space so it looks good but at home there is a ton more space because im on a 22".

Should have some time this evening to sort this
