Good evening all. Can anyone recommend a good, fair priced slider. I will be using a gh2 or Canon 5d mark 2. I want something super simple but strong and smooth.
 
I have the glidetrack and it works very well. Two years of use and still works very smoothly. Bit of WD40 on the tracks before a shoot and good clean after in prep for next works perfectly. Not too pricey. You can buy the parts from others on eBay now. It's a German machine system that's been appropriated.
 
I got one from an ebay seller named acinecity . It's a bit homemade but does a good job. I think I paid about £79 for a 32" inch example.

Don't think I could bring myself to lay out several hundred for one. There's quite a few plans for DIY ones using IGUS parts which cost about £120.

Konova sliders turn up pretty cheap there as well.
