Hi guys

Reviews of Nokia X71 and the blackberry range required pleeease :)

Thank you

P.s Aslo reviews of the cameras on board.

If my blackberry was a smartphone, it wouldn't have any trouble loading webpages, not crashing and generally doing what a phone needs to do. As it is, blackberry are rubbish at writing software and it fails majorly.

Just got myself a Blackberry Bold 9700 on an upgrade.
OK its not an iphone and Im not a technophobe, but I love it.
Great for picking up my emails on the move, unlimited web access and can hook into free WiFi as well.
One of the other advantages is that with Blackberry Messenger, its free to message other Blackberry users, of which i have quite a few.

its possible to download a blackberry simulator from their website, so you can get a feel for the operating system ...... which is pretty appaling compared to iphone and android's offerings, not tried nokia's though

there's a nice long thread full of phone pics somewhere else on this forum, there's bound to be at least one from the phones you mentioned

On my 2nd Blackberry (9700)

Love it. Great at what it is aimed to do i.e. phone, instant messaging, email etc

not great at taking pics.

Maybe I am old school. but I would rather pay money on a camera o be a camera rather than a phone to be what its not :D

If you're a message/email freak blackberry wins above everything tbh.

/checks for Mrsstevejobs.... Nope.....

*cough* iPhone 4 *cough*

/in his absence ...

Why are BBs so popular for email? My xperia syncs perfectly with my email. Is it because they were the first and have a good history? Im not having a iphone vs whatever go, just curious. :)

:plusone:

Just got my first smartphone after years of using second hand bricks! Got reccomended this one from my friend who works for O2, she actually wouldnt let me get an iPhone due to all the complaints she recieves!

It is great for e-mail and havent had any problems with internet as yet. Camera is ok for nights out and friend snaps.

I'm yet to see a smart phone with a decent camera tbh. Even camera phones with flash are pretty poor but then we are used to big shiny SLR's!

I had aan Xperia and hated it. I was deciding between a blackberry or iPhone. I ended up with a HTC desire. The phone is about the same size as the iPhone 3gs but the screen a bit bigger. The screen is simply stunning for displaying photos from my DSLR!

I could also bored you with the tech specs and how snap dragon processor smokes my mates iPhone's on tests. wish I knew someone with an iPhone 4. Then there is the rumour that a desire running with Froyo has even smoked iPad's.....but the update isn't released yet so it is all speculation.

Oh and it has flash....great for viewing your favourite togs websites.

There are some great phones out there at the mo. The competition is great for us consumers.

I don't know what the fascination is with blackberries, but we have to 'deal' with them at work and I can honestly say they are the biggest piles of crap that humankind has ever invented. Constantly running into silly issues, sometimes solved by a restart of the handset other times much more complicated. Yet the people with iPhones are never heard, nor those with HTCs.

Considering that blackberries are meant for business use, the reliability is appalling!
