Probably a bit early in the year to ask, but what settings would you use for photographing snow covered scenery? Is it just a matter of adjusting exposure compensation?

Yep,1-2 extra stops

Be sure to check that you haven't left your WB on the wrong setting from the night before. Happened to me a couple of times...

I'll have to look into white balance a bit more, never got to grips properly with it in the past, I'm ashamed to say!

Shoot raw and then change the wb on the pc.
