So how much do RAW files actually weigh??

Having a week in Bavaria at the moment, and I'm damn sure this camera bag is getting about half a kilo heavier every day. The only thing extra in it since I left home is the image files. I can therefore deduce that they MUST be weighty little blighters!

well on average at 30 Mb each (give or take) they do have some weight to them.

Funnily enough, the internet weighs about as much as a strawberry!

Does that mean that as the battery provides the electrons for the files that the bag must weigh the same. Unless you have recharged the batteries.

Process your raw files while you're there - they'll shed some weight as the solvents boil off...
