Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to get software that will automatically detect and back-up new images to a specified hard drive?

Cheers, Lee.

Try Karen's Replicator which is free.

2brightsparks do a free one which analyses the target and only copies what isn't there - makes it nice and quick.

You can set all sorts of criteria.

That's what I've been using for the past couple of years or so. I wouldn't call it pretty, but it works reliably and does just what I need it to.

Microsoft has it's own backup utility, which proabably won't be of much use to you if you're not using Windows.

Seems to work quite well, and has a number of options that allows you to configure what and how you want things backed up.
