Hi! This is my first post on this forum. I need some advise on something, so please be kind
Ok, my QUESTION:
I have one Nikon camera body and a Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 lens. I'm going to upgrade my zoom lens to a better one. What I was wondering is if I should get a second camera body for the 2nd lens?
How practical is it to swap lenses when you photograph a wedding service?
In the last wedding I did the service was 2 hours long, so enough time to swap lenses.
Please share with me your opinions and let me know what you do.
I'll give you a bit of my background so that you understand where I'm coming from and it might help with answering my question:
I've been taking photos since I can remember (like we all do) and I've always loved wedding photography. But I've never had to guts to go at in full time and gave up after about 3 years. But I just couldn't leave it there and I'm taking it up again. This time full time and more seriously. I've been studying photography for about 7 years. Reading books and watching videos, learning from pro's, etc.
I have a LOT of respect for full time photographers and I know that it's hard work setting up your own business. I've already cried many tears! LOL!
Why am I sharing all this? I just don't want people to think I'm just another person that wants to give wedding photography a go and that it 'looks easy'. I know it takes HARD work
Thank you very much for your time and i will appreciate any help
