Sony A adapter

So I understand that the AF from the canon ef to Sony E is average; now does anyone have any feedback from using Sony A to the Sony E adapter? Good AF, reliable? In an ideal world I’m hoping it would be as good as using the EOS R with the EF to R adapter?

Depends on the lenses but with first party SSM lenses it's nearly native level performance. From A7RII onwards

I see! I’m thinking the 70-300 G master A mount on the e lens
