Sony a200 cuts bottom off the picture...

Hi I've recently purchased an a200 which cuts the bottom of the picture off but shows more on the top than I see through the viewfinder, anybody know of this fault or have any ideas? I'm brand new to photography and no longer have the guys number whom I bought it from..

have you tried taking off the lens to look at the mirror ?

It's a common fault, there have been quite a few threads about on TP recently, requires a trip back to Sony to sort.

Anti-shake has failed - as the sensor moves around on a rolling plate, if it fails (or take a knock) the sensor can be left in the wrong position relative to the viewfinder.

In the bottom right of your viewfinder, you are probably seeing the Anti-Shake icon flashing, and not seeing the bar graph update?
