Can I ask what apps etc you use to transfer shots wirelessly from an a7ii to an ipad pro ?
The Sony app is absolutely rubbish, I can't even get the two to connect !

It's a known issue with the Sony Imaging Edge mobile app and the latest update to iOS - something Apple did broke it (I use Android, so haven't looked into the details).

Note that even when it does connect, the app will only transfer JPegs, not RAW - if you need to transfer RAW's you will need a different approach, typically using a card reader for your mobile / tablet.
 
The easiest way would be to get a cheap card reader and use a wired method of file transfer. Much faster and it will allow you to download your Raw files as well as JPEGs. If you have the new iPad Pro with a USB C port it should be easy to find a card reader
 
Thanks for the quick reply Jonathan and Richard. I'll just have to use my card reader until Apple pull their fingers out and get it sorted.
 
Update.
I decided to give Imaging Edge one more chance. Uninstalled, reinstalled...blow me down, it works !!
Fingers crossed it continues to work...
