For the Sony users that have had repaired completed at the Sony UK service center , what the opinion of the standard of work carried out ?

excellent,i had to send my kit lens back as it made a scrapping noise when zooming,turned out the gears had work there way out of line.
sent it off with the form you print off from there web site and it arrived back within the week.
only thing i didnt like is i had to pay the postage to send it but thats no big deal.
 
Good experience, paid a fix price repair fee, camera came back within 2 weeks if I remember right. This was to replace a faulty rear LCD screen.

Excellent - top rate turnaround, and there are very pro-active with updates.

I had my A900 turned around in 5 working days for example last year, and they did a small adjustment to my Sony 24-70 (1 day before the warranty ran out!) in 4 working days.

Although Sony do not offer a "Pro" service so far I've found them to be faster than NPS.
 
mm May be its just me then, Don't seem to be having much luck, Now returned camera in return post 3 time for work to be completed

Also sent a 16-105 lens fro ajustment on return it had a smug on the inside of the bottom optec they wanted a further £114 to clean it ..
