Sony rx100 mk1/2 landscapes

Hi

Posted this in the equipment section with little response

Is anybody using the rx100 with external filters attached. Does anybody have any sample images.

Would be VERY interested to see some long exposures with the sony.

I have a MAG filter - ND, for mine but thats it - don't use it enough really . The only long exposure i have with it is some light trails at night which have been edited slightly .

Ordered the sony 49 mm thread - not arrived yet though. Have a 49mm cpl and a step up ring to use grads/nd.

Will have a go soon!

One further question. There's a bulb mode. How do you trigger it without causing shake - there's not an
External trigger that you know of?

Arrgh. In my sleepiness posted this in the wrong bit.

Just in case anybody was curious!!

And yes I know it seems like overkill but it bugged me that they had a bulb function without a decent way of using it!!

Looking to upgrade mine to the Mk3 in the near future ! Such a great wee camera !

It does but if you want exposures more than 30 secs you need the bulb mode!

Now have my portable kit which I can carry in my large coat. Certainly smaller than the d800 /16-35 combo!

Well, I was going to use it next week but my in-laws camera broke a day before they were going away, so I lent them the rx100!!!

I'll make do with the d800 16-35 until I get it back

I'm probably more of a portrait kind of guy so hoping to get a few decent shots next week!!
