Hi,

I have recently purchased a used Sony NEX-7 mirrorless camera to supplement my EOS 7Dii as my light travel camera.
I have a some E mount glass already Sony 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 OSS, 5-210mm F4.5 - 6.3 OSS and 50mm F1.8 OSS

I am looking for a better quality walk around lens for example the SONY 16-70MM F4 zoom ZA carl ZEISS TESSAR T* or the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm F4 ZA OSS the full frame versi
Is there any other lens I should take an interest in ! ?

Many thanks

T

You shouldn 't take an interest in this lens - Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm F4 ZA OSS - because 36mm equivalent isn't really wide enough for a walkabout, and it's quite expensive for what it is. 16-70 is a good walkabout on crop (I used to use a Zeiss 16-80, and it's very versatile).

The other options are the 18-105 f/4 G and 18-135 OSS, which both give more reach and improved IQ over the kit lens.
