Sony Xpeira XZ Premium - 1000 FPS slow motion

Hope this is the right place for this!
tomorrow I collect my new xperia xz I'm only buying this for the 960 fps Super slow motion and 4K recording (iphone 240fps)
does anyone have any tips on slow motion recording to capture the perfect moment?

the trailer below from the movie Dredd was shot at 3,000fps i'ts so beautiful!
I'm hoping to get close to that using twixter in After Effects!

My first attempt, my Moms ragdoll kitten playing - shot at 1000 frames per second slowed down to 1600 frames per second using after effects CS6 and Twixtor, other effects used:
Ulead studio 11 time mapping - Red giants (colorista 3) - Trapcodes particular, AE built in tracker (2D track) and Windows Paint.
