Sorry AA and AAA Battery Charger again...

I use the mode to set it to charge test. it charges batteries then decharges then recharges and gives you a readout of the charge of the battery at the end.

Have you tried the "Refresh mode" on the new set?
(I did so successfully on an old set of AAA batteries which I thought were dead, took a few charge/discharge cycles though)
