Springtime at Marsworth on the Grand Union Canal.

I was skyping with a friend in western Canada. He
was telling me that he's moving his world on a 30ft
sailboat and intends to spent the rest of his life on
that boat, sailing the north-west coast from Vancou-
ver to Kodiak.

"How would like to retire?" he asked
"…a barge, in a river world…" I answered.

And there you are with three of them… a dream!
 
It looks nice Adrian. Composition-wise I'd have liked the curve of the bank to hit the bottom-right corner of the frame if possible, and for there to have been a little more contrast, but it's still a nice picture.

We have good friends who retired to a narrow boat, and each summer the go 'on tour' for 3 months around the British isles.
