Step up rings - light leaks?

Hi,
Need to buy a 72-77 step up ring probably, I assume they don't let any light through if using a 10 stop filter? If anyone has any experience.
There are loads of makes to choose from but not sure if it would come into play with a cheap one over a dearer one, or it would be an issue, or not an issue at all?

Correct… as all the rings and filter build up a light tight tube.
…if the 10 stop filter his a screw type, that is. If it is a plate,
the holder does it light tight.

I bought the cheapest set of generic step up rings I could find for the same purpose. Hong Kong. No problems at all.

Yeah it's a threaded circular 10stop. Cheers
