Hi guys,

Just bought myself a ND filter and fancy going to play with it this weekend somewhere local(ish). Just wondering if anyone knows of any decent water features, river/bridge/lake etc that are moving so I can go and play?

I know the Trent runs through but is there anywhere decent on it worth photographing?

3 shire head just outside Buxton near to Flash its a good walk off the main Buxton-Congleton road but nice if the weather is good.

If you do go that way you have Tittesworth Reservoir as well, but not much flowing water, some good landscape shots up to Hen Cloud though and from the mermaid pool as well

Thank you, I was thinking of heading up that way, I love the drive over the top of Flash!

I was at tittesworth yesterday. I got a few lovely shots. It's great on a sunny day

I actually haven't been up there with my SLR yet! So looking at Horse Shoe Falls, then the mermaid pool, then Tittersworth then home for a brew! Sounds good, cheers guys!

Glad I ordered a spare battery!

Not flowing water but there's Rudyard Lake as well. Amazing how much there is around here.
