stonehenge visit

Hi Planning a trip to stonehenge early morning sun rise. Can i get close to the stones at this time and is there a charge. Looking at using a short lens upto 75mm on full frame max.

we had special permission (for a fee) as there are security walking around 24/7

from a distance you can get some superb shots, the stone are close to the road with a 6 foot wire fence to hold your camera over.

sunrises, and sunsets can easily be acheived from a distance.

There is a byway which stretches between the two main roads. If you can fight your way through the hippies, you can get some good shots from there with a longer lens.

No, we light painted it, this is simply a huge torch held in the centre circle.
