Don't post them
There's always a way to capture the image if you post online.
You can put a watermark on them to make use of the image more difficult, but there are ways around this too.
Yeah I know that of course, but sites such as Flickr and EyeEm remove the ability to right click and save image. That's what I meant.

Yes, and six months later the thread is there discussing the image but the image is gone. Not very good.Post to here from Flickr, don't post directly to the forum. There is a thread (probably in the help section about how to post images from Flickr)
A genuine question, why would the image be gone? Does the link go after a period of time?Yes, and six months later the thread is there discussing the image but the image is gone. Not very good.
Posters sometimes remove or replace the original image. There's no time limit for a link.A genuine question, why would the image be gone? Does the link go after a period of time?
Thanks, i thought that was the case , then thought am I missing something.Posters sometimes remove or replace the original image. There's no time limit for a link.
It is a general problem whenever you link to images, any images. The original can be deleted either because it is not liked, or to save space or it has passed its sell by date. Common practice if someone pinches one of your images by "linking" to them is to replace it with some porn or worse image and let them show that.A genuine question, why would the image be gone? There are ways around that. I can save your image with about 3 clicks even if you have done that.
Two things
In regard to your profile settings you have selected "Yes" to Edit my images, so are inviting downloading.
As for right click disabling it has almost no value ~ if an image is viewable it is downloaded on the viewing computer, it can therefore be saved!
People could still download your image(s) but the etiquette means they would not post back an edited image of yours.Thank you for this I didn't realise. Will change now.
That's a worthwhile goal to achieve.Personally I adopt the approach of taking rubbish photos so that no one would want to copy them anyway
Then the discussion is irrelevant anywayYes, and six months later the thread is there discussing the image but the image is gone. Not very good.
