You obviously have a good patter to get these folk to pose for you. I think that is the biggest hurdle for most togs, establishing that first contact without scaring them or making them wary of being sold something they don't need.

Thanks Ian,
I have just found an approach that works (mostly) when asking strangers to pose.
I recently crashed and burned with my project in Blackpool and felt that was part of the reason, I feel people were wary of my trying to sell them something. Making an approach with a large camera, I think people thought I would be selling them their portrait.
