studio lighting in nature

what kind of light would you use for say, a fashion style shoot in a forest or a feild or something. im not really planning on doing one anytime soon (slthiough if i get the chance and find a place etc then i will) but i was ust wondering. flashgun or lamp? and how would you plug the lamp in. or am i totally missing something there...

Portable strobes (like 430EX or 580EX or viv 285 etc) with some kind of remote trigger but depending on ambient light conditions and/or what you're trying to achieve/light up then you could be looking at studio flashes with a portable power supply.

I have been thinking of just this I was going to use a small studio flash set up and power it with a inverter of a car battery
