I was just wanting to know if when you hire a studio to do a shoot if its a private room your given or will other people be around. I always thought it was private but I watched a video where there was about 4 photographers working with different models in different areas in one big room. Is this the norm or just that studio? Thanks

It was possibly a group shoot in the video. Normally if you hire a studio i would have thought that only you would be there for your alloted time, maybe apart from the studio owner.

Ive used a studio in Maidstone a couple of times. On site is a small studio
& a large one. Both have doors so they can be completely private.

The owner lets you in, turns on the power & returns when your time is up.

A studio in Dover on the other hand recommends that you hire the facilities
'after hours' to avoid people coming in & ruining your shoot :cuckoo:

Depends entirely on the studio, and your own working knowledge of the lights etc. Personally I wouldn't use a studio that insisted on someone else being there with me, it can be very off putting especially with a new/inexperienced model.

i use ISL studio in leeds, and for the hire cost you get the whole room to yourself
