I have been tasked with taking some photos for prints in the bathroom, has anyone any suggestions for suitable Black and White subjects. interior design is not my bag, I am more first and second fix.
 
Have you got any that you have already taken that are ideal to stare at while sat on the can?

It is a bathroom so water theme is probably the most obvious.

A few years ago while living in Turkey an older Dutch couple we were friends with asked to buy some of my images, Marie was a bit older than mu wife & myself, she bought a few landscape images, then said have you any nudes, I said well yes back in the UK. Next visit home I printed a few 15"x12" B&W nudes, Marie bought 3 for her bathroom in Turkey, she was in her 80s :D

My late wife then asked why we had no nudes on the walls in our bedroom, here in the UK.

I have a colour landscape image on the bathroom wall, on the can my back is to it, yes it's water themed a lake on the Glyders.

Brilliant, I just need to find a sixties toilet with a pull chain. :)
 
or a high contrast abstract of shapes
 
Whatever you go with it has to be a contemplative theme, for obvious reasons. :D

Fits the decor. also as the room with least light best place for an R3 colour print.

Could be a good theme! I was going to suggest someone sitting on the can and a scene from Bates' motel shower (shower curtain, steam and a big dagger in hand), but then I realised that you meant photos for hanging in the bathroom, not taken in the bathroom!

How about dried, cracked mud in the bottom of a dried out reservoir (save water). For me, beach scenes, beach huts, pebbles, shells waves crashing on rocks etc.

I was sat there, and I had this feeling someone was watching me. I thought funny. Looked around, nobody there. Funny! Then I looked up and saw the bloody Mona Lisa there with that awful sniffy look on her face. She looks like she's never been to the loo in her life.... With apologies to Pete and Dud. :D

When the nutter gets on the bus he always sits next to me.......... I wish I new the name of that sketch looked high and low for it........

A nice waterfall might be appropriate in helping matters along ;)
 
I have three prints in my bathroom.

Over the toilet a picture of the dog when he was a puppy, cocking his leg.

The other two are also of the dog, all photos in black and white.
 
I have the idea that I am going to get some pressed flowers and photograph them in b and w think that would be good for a bathroom or a stair case wall, just an idea
