Went along to a presentation at the Reigate photographic club with Sue Bishop. It was really good, had never been along to a club or a presentation and this was really good.
Saw some lovely photos and lots of tips and ideas on how to get better pictures.

I think I should join up to my local club I think it'd really help. I feel quite enthusiastic about things now, just need to go out and practise.

Thought I'd share my experience.

I've learnt a lot through joining a local camera club. As well as talks, practice nights or days out and critique nights, I've made some great friends and we've got together at other times to do photography related stuff. And through contacts in the club I've had photos in a couple of exhibitions, have heard of courses that were beneficial etc. I'd recommend you join and go along - even if every week isn't like that one, its worth it to come home feeling enthused like that sometimes!

Yes photo diva that's her. She founded a company called light and land which do lots of workshops and stuff. Her flower work is fantastic.

Thanks, I think I'll look at joining up soon, need to smooth out some finances first.
