Yes
well so far ive got a sigma 10-20 and a canon 18-135 and a 1.8 50mm

i love the 50m and the 10-20 but find they have there place.. the 18-135 seems to be a point and shoot lens but id like something that is better in low light , faster and sharper... any suggestions without blowing the bank ? i hope to start moving on to 'people' and want to get better shots !

Better in low light is somwthing with F2.8. Depending on your budget - canon 17-55/2.8 or tamron 17-50/2.8 or canon 24-105/4L if you want apx the same focal range, but is F4 so one stop slower...

But for very low light, I'd consider fast primes - Sigma 30/1.4 or Canon 30/2, Canon 85/1.8, etc

35mm F1.4, cos that's what I want for gig shoot's.

The bit about "not breaking the bank" might put this option out of scope!

The 35mm f/2 is very good indeed though, and very affordable.

When you say "moving to people", do you mean portrait photography. If so,85mm 1.8 is very good for that.
