Surfing Morocco

Just got back from a week in Morocco (2000 mile drive down!) Tried a go at a few shots as well as surfing...these guys were a lot better than me!

Had to shoot into the sun to get close to the action but think the silhouette effect is not too bad.

I appreciate the difficulty in getting the sea and the surfer exposed correctly.. but the surfer being the more important I think you have these the wrong way around as all the surfers are far too under exposed...

I like 3 a lot, the golden colour gives a great warm feel to the image, while the surfer is not too underexposed and still has a decent level of detail. I do like the silhouette effect achieved with the subject matter in 1 and 7 but the rest are too underexposed as mentioned above to do anything for me.

By the way, why do I thirst for a Guinness now. Tick follows tock....

Yep - agree with the underexposed comments. Processed these on an old laptop and pretty hard to tell how dark they were...looking at now when back home on big monitor can see the problem (5&6 especially!)
