Finally had chance to try out the new OS 70-200 I've had for a few weeks on the kids running around, was very impressed with it to be fair.
Looking through them found this one i loved, my boy just sat there in the middle without a care in the world.
This is straight wifi'd to my phone so a bit lower than normal resolution and hasnt been played with at all. 1460965907288.jpg

I would suggest to try to control the highlights though
some part of the hair is blown out. something like…

Bit of a bright sun and was trying different settings through the photos so not sure off the top of my head whether this was manual or not.
What would you of recommended in the situation, underexposing it a little and bringing the blacks up in Photoshop?

Using an on camera flash or a reflector is the safer way,
if not, underexpose +/- 1,7 stop.

The PP is done entirely in the converter… so PS is no tool
for that since you don't need a pixel editor for this.

ADDENDUM
A darker hair subject would have less suffer from the light
condition… but blond is blond!

Sorry I was meaning Lightroom rather than Photoshop.

His brothers brown haired actually and didn't have no problems with his hair being over exposed but then don't get the blue eyes I think look great in photos.
