Hi guys,

I'm newish here, although I've been lurking a while. I'm off to Tenby on the 18th of June - Just me, my camera and a rucsack.

Where are the best places to go with my camera? I'm happy getting up at ridiculous times for sunrises and staying up late for sunsets... I just need to pray for sun! Obviously, I would prefer to stay pretty close to Tenby itself, as I'll just be on foot, although I don't mind walking a few miles.

Well Park, New Hedges is probably the closest camp site to Tenby.
 
The boat trip to see the seals is a nice thing to do for a few hours. Tenby is one of those places where everything and anything is photogenic!
 
Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'm sure I'll use a few of them! A boat trip sounds like a great idea.

I've been out buying a smaller camera bag, and a gorilla pod tripod today. I'm travelling light, with just a backpack. I'm taking the gorilla pod rather than a bigger tripod (I think), to save space.

Just a little bit of kit is coming with me:
Camera plus 17-50 lens
10 stop filter
A small selection of cokin filters + adaptors

I'll see how I get on!
