As title really feel free to show any photos in this thread taken with your 50mm 1.8 in natural light.

It will be great to see all the different examples folks can get with this super cheap little lens...

I will start the ball rolling with one from this morning.

Shot at F2.5 (1/125).

Love the photos so far btw! :)

Some nice pics here! I must admit that my Nikon 50mm 1.4 is one of my all time favourites, I do not use it very often but I am very happy to have it for when the portrait mood takes me!:)

Best 58 quid I ever spent! (My dad lives in the Far East!)

Some great images in here... Feeling as little left out though.. I have the 1.4. I might just buy one to join in, they are definitely cheap enough..:D

There are some cracking shots in this thread which certainly dispells the thought that a cheap lens will only produce mediocre images.

Here's a shot I took with the 50mm inside a pub.
Settings - f2, 1/200th ISO100

Thought I may as well share one too some brilliant shots in this thread.

50mm Mk2 on a Canon EOS400d F1.8 1/200th ISO 100.
